Troy and his leadership team are hands-on operators and are involved with all aspects of a project from planning through to delivery, constantly committed to achieving client objectives underpinned by quality and safety processes. The development of the team has increased its capacity and have dedicated teams that also deliver refurbishment works in live and sensitive environments.

Troy established Matrix in 2012 following a successful career in construction management and carpentry. Throughout the last 8 years he has continued to grow the business by providing end to end construction services which enhance their environments, add value and provide quality outcomes for owners, occupiers and users.
Troy’s belief in the importance of strong relationships continues to underpin the Matrix culture and approach. Each project is driven by a customer focused methodology, seeking to achieve the best possible outcome for the client and end users.

John Russell

Construction Manager

John has worked for and delivered projects for Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies over the past 20+ years with project values range from $15M to $400M holding positions as Senior Project Manager and Construction Manager in successfully delivering a broad and diverse range of projects. Recent projects include iconic high-rise residential towers, shopping centre and residential development, industrial warehouse distribution centres, the first green 5-star pilot industrial warehouse, and ‘live’ data centres and commercial retail and office towers.

James Swerydow

Finance Manager

James provides extensive experience in finance and accounting within the construction industry. Having worked for both large and small contractors, James is a commercially astute construction industry finance manager. James specialises in systems improvement and project reporting regimes, as well as leading accounting teams and project teams to improve cost control.
With accounting qualifications and experience in both project and commercial management he is fully conversant with the processes and risks associated with construction contracts.

Murray Brighton

WHSE Manager

Murray has worked as a Work Health Safety and Environment Manager for more than 46 years in the construction and maintenance sector, gaining valuable experience developing and implementing programs to improve compliance outcomes. Highly experienced in systems implementation, specialising in the development and management of QA, 
WHS and environmental management systems. Murray has a strong background in WHS, Workers Compensation and Industrial relations with a proven track record in managing safety.
